Over the past few years, Wiz Packaging R & D experts have been working hard to create a mono-material film that both meets the needs of products that require high barrier and sterilization properties, as well as can be recyclable.

Earlier this year, our colleagues made this breakthrough: they developed a PE/PE structure that provides performance, barrier protection, and heat resistance, making it a true alternative to PET. The new film has excellent performance in terms of barrier and heat processing without compromising packaging function and product shelf life, and it’s suitable for existing recycling streams.
